Telesales Team Leader Vacancy

Main purpose of the role

As a Telesales Team Leader, you will grow a department that is at the forefront of developing new business leads for the company. You will be responsible for recruiting and running a new telesales team, carrying out on going sales training and generating a high volume of outbound phone calls, creating face to face appointments for our field sales team to attend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Selection of a new telesales team
  • Managing day to day operations of the team
  • Meeting and exceeding given sales targets by managing the team and maximising the sales potential of every call
  • Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring the team to achieve the targets.
  • Responsible for initiating and implementing ongoing training on products and selling techniques where needed
  • Disciplined use of the company’s CRM system
  • Forecasting and reporting to the Sales Director
  • Generate meetings for prospective clients in line with the targets agreed
  • Identifying opportunities to up/cross sell
  • Delegation and diary management for all sales appointments
  • Managing leads that come from the company website and marketing campaigns.
  • Objective setting/KPI management

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Required

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in telesales management
  • Industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Ability to meet targets
  • Experience in hiring, training and developing staff
  • Highly motivated to deliver sales results
  • Team focused
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
